For non-Japanese

Many foreign nationals living in Japan may assume a loan from a financial institution when purchasing real estate or building a house in Japan. Here, I will explain the conditions for foreign nationals to obtain a mortgage loan.

@Conditions for foreign nationals to get a mortgage

・ Having a permanent residence permit
・ For those who do not have a permanent residence permit, a spouse who has Japanese nationality or a permanent residence permit must be the guarantor.
・ Working and paying taxes in Japan
・ Must live in Japan
And so on

A You cannot get a mortgage unless you open an ordinary account of the financial institution that receives the loan.

・ In most cases, it is also necessary to open an account to be used to repay the loan.
It seems that the conditions for foreign nationals to open a regular account in Japan are a little stricter.
Typical conditions include “working for 7 months or more after entering Japan”.
Please note that the required identity verification materials, such as the residence card and special permanent resident certificate, have the same name and spelling as the application form for opening an account.

We support foreign nationals who want to build a house in Japan or buy real estate in Japan. In addition, we will introduce foreign nationals who meet or may meet the above conditions, and will pay the referral fee when the contract is concluded. Please take this opportunity to consider it.
